In the 2019 new city sets, I noticed that design is better compare to the previous city sets. I feel LEGO put more effort to design the new city sets. Today I'm going to review this simple LEGO City Police set - 60239 Police Patrol Car.
This set comes with 92 pieces and retail price is RM49.90 (You can get a lower than retail price from our online store at RM44.90😁).
The Patrol car looks much sporty compare to the previous LEGO 4435 Police Patrol Car that released in 2012. I prefer this new set compare to the old set.
Inside the box, you'll find 2 bags, 1 Chasis 6x12 (this is a new 2019 design), 1 instruction book and a sticker sheet.
The set come with only 1 minifigure which is the Police Officer and this minifigure only appear in this set, no other than this.
The police officer has a cool face with a black sunglasses and blue cap (4435 policeman wear a silver color glasses). He wears a light blue City Officer shirt with dark blue Tie and Gold Badge. On his waist is a Dark Tan Belt with Radio and he has Dark Blue Legs.
The build of the Patrol Car is simple but the result is awesome. The front portion uses the 45Deg. Cut plates (new bricks in 2018) which is first time used on LEGO City Police vehicle. This make the Patrol Car looks so cool.
The dashboard of the car uses a rooftile with metre printed on.
Conclusion: I like the design of the Police Patrol Car, the build is fun. And with a price of RM44.90, it's worth to add into my LEGO City Collection.
