Today I built this 2018 LEGO DC Superheroes set - 76095 Black Manta Strike. Here's my thought after the build:
- The Black Manta Submarine's build is straight forward, but full of playability, I like the 2 spring-loaded shooters and 6-stud rapid shooter. The set does comes with extra arrow and stud for the spring shooters and rapid shooter.
- The Black Manta Submarine features an opening minifigure cockpit that allows the Black Manta to sit in, as well as to store his sword.
- The 2 engines of the Black Manta Submarine is slightly too simple.
- This set comes with 3 minifigures + a shark figure to role-play battles from Aquaman movie. Personally I prefer the shark figure.
- Both Aquaman and Mera comes with 2 face expressions. Aquaman carries his trident, Mera with her power blast and Black Manta carries a sword. Mera can shoot her power blast, which increase the playability of the set.
- Overall this is simple set but it succeeds to bring out the role-play of exciting underwater scenes from the Aquaman movie.
Inside the box you'll find 2 bags of bricks, 1 manual book and 1 sticker.
