Bandai Star Wars 1/5000 Star Destroyer kit revealed!

This surely is a good news for all Bandai Star Wars kit fans. After long wait, Bandai finally announced the new 1/5000 Star Destroyer will be released in August 2019! 2 versions to be released in August 2019:
- 1/5000 Star Destroyer [Lighting ver] [Initial Limited Edition]
- 1/5000 Star Destroyer [Regular Edition]

Overwhelmingly detailed details appearing on a hull of 320mm in total length. The model is featured with lights at Bridge / Multistage Bridge as well as Sub-light Engine.

The Star Destroyer lighting version equipped with 12 LEDs that can be assembled without special processing, replicate the scene in the movie:- Floating in jet black space, detailed light overflowing from the huge Star Destroyer and overwhelming luminescence feels the powerful driving force of the rear engines.

The shape for the Star Destroyer is reproduced by both Mr Seiji Takahashi and Mr Hiroshi Washimi. In the lighting version kit [Initial Limited Edition], it is included with a copy of manual that with "commentary page" edited by Mr Seiji Takahashi.

[Multistage Bridge]
The Multistage Bridge is a building group reminiscent of the big city and it is a source of huge sense and beauty of Star Destroyer. The detail detail spreading on the side has rhythmic sense and strength, so it is easy to grasp the whole picture and firmly insists on being a battleship. Mr Seiji Takahashi condensed the kit with the beautiful and wonderful details of the model for photography as it is.

[Rear of command bridge]
The kit is highly reproduced to cherish all the details to the deepest part of the gate at the centre, based on the big shot image at the end of Star Wars Empire Strikes Back, Star Destroyer throws garbage right before HyperDrive.

[Trench]
A long narrow groove extending to the left and right of the hull. The width is narrow and it is very small area in Star Destroyer, but it has details comparable to the multistage bridge, by placing parts on the side of the trench, the ceiling and the floor. Mr Seiji Takahashi constructed a mechanism structure with high density in a narrow space, and clarified everything and reproduced the same space.

[Panel line]
A huge panel line supports the huge feeling of Star Destroyer, however, its reproduction is difficult. If all lines of the model are traced, the body surface will get stuck in line only. Therefore, beautiful lines that determined the impressions of individual area are picked up and shaped it.

[Main Hanger - The reason why Star Destroyer is so beautiful]
The main hanger has a hanger, a mobile crane, a rail, a work command office and so on. It has realistic functional beauty reminiscent of existing container terminals and huge production factories, and the illumination using indirect lighting makes the night view beauty of the factory. The kit reproduces its charm without surmounting.

The 1/5000 Millennium Falcon and Blockage are attached and displayable.
