Bandai 1/60 [Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory] kits revealed!

Bandai is releasing 3 model kits from the TV anime [Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory] in this coming April'18. This is definitely a good news for all its fans. The 3 models that are releasing are:

• 1/60 Arbalest Ver IV
• 1/60 Mao's Gernsback Ver IV
• 1/60 Gernsback Ver IV

Bandai Star Wars Figure Model Kit - Han Solo and Luke Skywalker

In 2018, Bandai finally come out with their first Star Wars model kit with Human Face expression! The new technology they use to print the face expression is called Triaxial Jet Finish!
*Triaxial Jet Finish:- Develop a special jig to control the printing into 3 directions. With this, it creates the shadowy feeling on the surface to recreate the feeling of skin and the facial expression is three-dimensional and vivid.

Big thing coming in August'18 - LEGO Technic

Yesterday in the Nuremberg Toy Fair, LEGO revealed that they will be releasing the LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron set in this August'18. There are not much detail yet up to now but we know that this set will have 3599 pieces.
This is an exciting news as it has been 2 years since LEGO released the LEGO Technic Porsche. Stay tuned.

Strong rumours on the internet saying that the LEGO Collectible Minifigure Series 18 characters will as shown in the pictures. Until LEGO officially announce this, I'll keep this as a rumour only. But if this is true, then this will be my favourite CMF ever. 😀

Millennium Falcon Build Diary - Part 4 - Painting Cockpit components

Quite a lot of work being done so far on the cockpit. I started to paint the cockpit components to match with the movie.

There will be a LED light right behind the instrumental panel and there are cutouts on the instrumental panel for the light to shine through. I haven't receive the model LED light yet so I tested it by putting it in front of a normal light source. It's looks very plain and most of the color turn white.

Millennium Falcon Build Diary - Part 3 - Partial Framework Assembly

I ordered extra material and tools for the cockpit, while waiting those material arrive, I jump to work on the MF framework today, base on the parts I got from Issue #1~#4. Basically the whole MF chassis will be made by metal and I'll need to assemble it piece by piece.

There are rumour flying around in the internet yesterday that LEGO will coming out with the Harry Potter Collectible Minifigure this year.

Based on the parts I got from issue #1~#3, I'll start with something easy first. 😁

DeAgostini Millennium Falcon Model Build Diary - Part 1

I decided to build the 1/43 Millennium Falcon model from DeAgostini. As all parts will come together with the magazine weekly, this will be a long journey for the entire build. I'll use this blog as the dairy of the building process of the model.

I started to receive issue#1~4 last week. Besides the magazine and assembly guides, these are the parts in each issue. Even the model is pre-painted and weathered, I may add in more weathering effect to make it more realistic.

Includes: Cockpit Instrument panel sticker, cockpit bulkhead, cockpit base, laser cannon barrels (upper & lower), mounting plate (left & right), mounting yoke, fixing screws, hull plating, a screwdriver and a 1:1 Falcon Model Blueprint.
