Japan Gunpla reviewer, Hoshimaru-San, recently reviewed this new Bandai HGCE Duel Blitz Gundam kit from the movie “Gundam Seed Freedom”. I summarized the review and share here.

This kit comes with a high-energy beam rifle, 2 saber blades, wire for the Piercer Lock Grape Neal II
Assault Shroud parts set
It also comes with the stand to display the Piercer Lock Grape Neil II.
A piece of sticker.
In the Duel Gundam mode, it almost similar to the normal Duel Gundam except the cockpit was changed to nuclear power (similar to the Zaku Warrior).
The kit is new and not diverted from the old HG Duel Gundam. The joint mechanism is new - not using any ABS and poly caps, only KPS is composed.
The color separation of the kit is nicely done. The shoulder frame is separated with grey color parts. The only area on the body that use sticker is the sensor. The top-head camera and the eyes are moulded in clear fluorescent green color. It’s a plus for this HG kit!
The pack-connection hole on the back is a 2-holes type, so it can connect to various type of option part sets ☝🏻👇🏻!
In term of articulation, it moves really well and the swinging range of the abdomen is big. And for the legs, it can be opened nearly to a straight line with a stable grounding, and the hip joint can be lowered so it can bend the knee to the ground easily.
Various of popular poses.
This is the Duel Blitz Gundam mode. This looks really great!
The right shoulder is equipped with the high-energy beam rifle, and left shoulder is equipped with the saber and missile.
The orange and yellow parts of the Assault Shroud parts set are colored separated as much as possible.
Unfortunately after putting on the Assault Shroud parts, the movement of the upper body becomes limited but the lower body is not affected.
Various poses of popular poses.
In comparison of the HGCE Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam and HGCE Infinite Justice Type II.
The size of the HGCE Duel Blitz Gundam is similar to the HGCE Infinite Justice Type II.
Conclusion:
This is a good kit that greatly evolved from the old HG Duel Gundam kit. The proportion of the kit is good as well as the articulation. I like the good looking of the combination of the Duel Gundam and Blitz Gundam, the color separation of the kit is well done too.
