Finally manage to build this nice kit from Aoshima. Let's see those pieces provided inside the box:
This kit comes with engine parts, this make it more interesting.
As usual, I started with sanding down all the mold lines and did the fitting test.
I want to make the AE86's chassis in certain used and aged condition, therefore I've added some dirts and mud colours on it.
Masked on the chassis so that I can spray the exhaust and shaft with different colours.
Exhaust and disc brakes are ready.
Chassis completely assembled.
More weathering needed.... Plan do it at the end of the build.
Dashboard and internal parts are coloured with 3 colours scheme - Red Brown, Red Orange and Black.
Test fitting the engine and others parts on the engine bay.
Added some wires.
Weathering done.
Build completed. Overall this is a nice kit with most of the parts included. It provides few engines type for you to choose based on your preference.
