Gundam contest at Seremban

As some of you might already known (pre-information was published via our FB page last week), DeToyz is holding its own Gundam contest at Seremban. This is the 1st Gundam contest held by DeToyz and the purpose is to gather the gundam modelers at Seremban and organize a year end event at Seremban.

DeToyz's Gundam Contest 2013!



Rules:
1. A customer of De Toyz Shop or a follower DeToyz Facebook page.
2. Must be Bandai Gundam model kits - Any model that scale 1/100 or 1/144
3. The contest is divided into 2 categories:

• Out of box - straight build - Category for beginner modelers. Emphasis is placed on seem line, nub, and flash removal.
• Out of box - Modified build - Modified category for beginner/advanced model builders. In this category, entries can modified their gundam by:
• Coloured
• Weathering
• Battle damage
• Dioramas (for dioramas builders, base and scenes are not within judging criteria, focus will be on the model itself)

4. Every entry must fill up the entry form that can get at DeToyz shop Seremban started from 21st Oct 2013.
5. Only gundam that purchased from DeToyz from 13th Oct 2013 onwards qualify to participate in the contest.
6. This contest will run from 21st Oct 2013 until 20th Dec 2013. All entries must submit their gundam to De Toyz Shop latest on 20th Dec 2013. Winners will be nominated on 28th Dec 2013.
7. Please do email me at least 3 WIPs photos(with or without descriptions) during contest period so I can blog it or post on our FB page. Let us know what you are doing. You can either email to detoyz@hotmail.com or our FB page's inbox.


Judging Criteria:

• Painting (0-10 points): Quality and execution of the painting, including detail, of the entry.
• Technical (0-10 points): Includes thoroughness of basic model building including nub removal, seams as well as excellence of any modifications.
• Creativity (0-10 points): Aesthetics of the entry, including concept, posing, unique painting scheme and presentation, including diorama if applicable. The more creative and interesting things you do to your entries, the higher you will score!

• 1st Prize: Cash voucher RM250
• 2nd Prize: Cash voucher RM120
• 3rd Prize: Cash voucher RM60

 Straight build Category:...

• 1st Prize: Cash voucher RM150
• 2nd Prize: Cash voucher RM80
• 3rd Prize: Cash voucher RM40
