Model Paint Basic Information.

Just to share some basic information regarding to each type of model paint - Enamel, Acrylic and Lacquer paint. Use them as a reference only.

By the way, I haven't try other brand of paint besides Mr Color and Tamiya, therefore I'm not sure about others.

Check out the table below and the characteristic of each type of paint.

Lacquer Paint

Main Character:
- Dry fast.
- nice glossy finishing.
- suitable for air brushing.
- Strong.
- A bit hard for hand paint.

Enamel Paint

Main Character:
- Nice metal finishing
- Suitable for hand paint
- Good for wash technique
- Dry slowest among lacquer and acrylic.

Acrylic Paint

Main Character:
- Nice Flat finishing
- Can be thinned with water.
- So so with air brushing
